The Role
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will own the technical architecture for critical agent workflows. You are a "product-minded builder" who cares deeply about the end-user experience and can architect systems that are safe, compliant (HIPAA/SOC 2), and scalable.
Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design scalable backend architectures for AI agents using microservices and event-driven patterns.
- Advanced AI Engineering: Lead the development of complex RAG pipelines and agentic tool-use strategies.
- Quality & Safety: Define engineering standards for code quality and collaborate with QA to prevent prompt injection and hallucinations.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Strategic Prototyping: Lead rapid prototyping initiatives to validate new product features before full-scale engineering.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of AI engineering experience at high-tech firms or Series A+ AI startups.
- Bachelor's degree from a World Top 50 university or equivalent top-tier institution.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI, Vibe Coding, and backend system design.
- Proficient in English and Chinese to facilitate cross-border technical alignment.
- Strong ability to adapt to dynamic environments and own the delivery of complex features.
