Role: Country Manager, Taiwan
Location: Taiwan (Remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the local team, ensuring alignment with global and regional business goals.
- Develop and execute country-level business plans, growth strategies, and operational initiatives.
- Represent the company at local industry events, regulatory forums, and strategic business meetings.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Build and strengthen relationships with partners, Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Lead market expansion initiatives, including new product launches, regional partnerships, and targeted campaigns.
- Manage the full P&L of the local entity, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance reports.
- Oversee daily operations—including customer service, logistics, compliance, and local support—ensuring high performance.
- Streamline operational workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, license obligations, reporting standards, AML/KYC guidelines, and FX brokerage rules.
- Recruit, lead, and grow a high-performing, cross-functional local team.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with regulators, industry bodies, government stakeholders, IBs, partners, and institutional clients.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in financial services, specifically forex, CFDs, or online trading brokerage.
- Proven success in driving business development, revenue growth, and sales management.
- Experience managing country-level operations, including P&L and budgeting responsibility.
- Previous leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Background in running or expanding a regulated brokerage entity is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements for forex brokerage operations.
- Familiarity with licensing requirements, reporting processes, AML/KYC standards, and risk‑management frameworks.
- Ability to serve as a responsible officer or compliance point-of-contact depending on jurisdiction
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Strategic thinker who can also execute operationally.
- High analytical capability with experience evaluating business performance and market trends.
- Strong decision-making skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Native language proficiency in the respective market
