At MHub, you’ll play a key role in supporting our people operations while gaining exposure beyond traditional HR, including light IT support related to employee onboarding and offboarding.
This is 80% HR Generalist + 20% basic IT support (not a tech role, just practical workplace support.)
What You’ll Be Doing - HR (Your Main Focus – 80%)
- Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits
- Coordinate recruitment activities: job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation (contracts, letters, employee records)
- Manage leave, attendance, and HR system updates
- Assist with payroll inputs and benefits administration
- Be a friendly first point of contact for HR-related queries
- Support HR policies, compliance, and basic reporting
- Help organise employee engagement activities, training sessions, and company events
IT Support (Support Scope – 20%)- No advanced IT skills required.
- Prepare basic IT setup for new joiners (laptop, monitor, accessories)
- Manage system access enrolment (email, HR system, shared drives, collaboration tools)
- Handle IT onboarding and offboarding checklists
- Assist with data backup and migration for exiting employees
- Maintain a simple IT asset tracking list
- Liaise with external IT vendors when technical support is needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of HR Generalist experience (startup / SME experience is a plus)
- Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields
- Comfortable with basic IT tools, hardware, and workplace systems
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proactive, adaptable, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience working in a startup, innovation hub, or co-working space
- Exposure to IT onboarding/offboarding processes
- Familiarity with Malaysian labour practices
