Position Overview:

The Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production schedules, inventory management, and supply chain activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to meet organizational goals and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasted demand. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or changes in demand.

Coordinate with production teams to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize downtime.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Implement inventory control procedures to reduce excess stock and minimize waste.

Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may impact production schedules. Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Generate reports on production performance, inventory levels, and supply chain metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.

Customer Service: Communicate with customer service teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to production and delivery schedules. Maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
