Reporting Line: Head of Program Duta Guru

Role Purpose

Strengthen strategic planning, performance monitoring, and reporting systems, enabling the Program Duta Guru team to deliver measurable impact in partnership with educational stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of Program Duta Guru’s objectives.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Design, refine, and maintain programme dashboards, reporting systems, and knowledge management tools to track performance, monitor risk, and improve data-driven decision-making.
  2. Coordinate and align cross-functional collaboration among Program Duta Guru teams to ensure effective planning, delivery, and evaluation of strategic initiatives.
  3. Lead the development and delivery of quarterly and annual performance reports for internal and external stakeholders, including Yayasan PETRONAS and the Ministry of Education (MOE).
  4. Facilitate data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify performance trends, surface insights, and inform programme and process improvements.
  5. Support the management of Programme Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring ongoing alignment and accountability across functions.
  6. Manage the coordination and production of the Program Duta Guru Impact Report, synthesising data and stakeholder feedback into clear narratives and evidence-based insights.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external teams to support research and evaluation initiatives, including studies on education equity, programme effectiveness, and teacher impact.
  8. Oversee the preparation and submission of financial documentation, including drawdown requests and invoices, in collaboration with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting to partners.

Technical/ Functional competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
  • Experience in OKR setting, tracking, and management is an advantage.
  • Skilled in producing reports and presentations for high-stakes audiences, blending data and narrative to convey programme progress and impact.

Experiences & qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project management, strategy, planning, monitoring, or performance evaluation.
  • Prior experience producing data-driven reports and managing reporting systems for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field; corporate planning and strategy, education, or business-related qualifications are an advantage.
