Role Purpose:

The Manager, Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's risk management framework. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization’s ability to achieve its strategic and operational objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement the organization's enterprise risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks across all areas of the organization, including strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks. Conduct risk assessments to determine the likelihood and impact of identified risks and prioritization.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize the impact of risks on the organization.
  • Oversee Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management programs, including the development, testing, and updating of continuity plans and crisis response procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to BCM and crisis management.
  • Prepare and present risk management reports and updates to senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to increase risk awareness and promote a risk-conscious culture within the organization. Provide guidance and support to departments in implementing risk management practices.
  • Continuously monitor the risk environment and assess the effectiveness of the risk management framework. Conduct regular reviews and updates to the risk management framework to address new and evolving risks.
  • General Responsibilities: All employees are required to ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements. All employees are expected to assist with tasks, projects, and other duties related to the role, as and when deemed necessary.

You're a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
