Role Purpose:
Perform finance operational activities covering statutory financial reporting, payments and billings, cash and working capital management, treasury, banking and e-money fund management to sustain business operations and compliance requirements
In This Role You Will:
Financial Reporting:
- Support accounting and month-end closing activities alongside GFC Financial Accounting team, and provide support for escalation of issues and critical inputs required from business
- Support statutory audit activities, provide inputs on identified audit issues and management of audit issues resolutions
- Support accounting system implementation and application
Finance Operations:
- Monitor and perform reviews of effectiveness of payments and billing activities performed by GFC AP/AR and Setel Finance team, identify and provide support on escalation of issues and critical inputs required from business
- Monitor payables and receivables ageing and drive timely issues resolutions with business teams for effective working capital management
- Support system implementation and enhancements for finance operational activities
Treasury:
- Perform payment settlements and banking activities
- Manage banking accounts and liaison with banks for banking matters
- Perform effective operational cash flow forecasts by monitoring working capital and cash requirements
e-Money Management:
- Perform and provide support on fund flow activities for eMoney (OEML, Trust account) in compliance with BNM requirements, including monitoring daily reconciliations and merchant settlements
Initiative/Add-Hoc Task:
- Contribute and lead any additional tasks relating to the Finance operations activities. This may include among others but not limited to system and process improvements and company or enterprise-wide initiatives.
General Responsibilities:
- All employees are required to ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
You're A Great Fit If You Have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Finance role.
- Strong knowledge and experiences of Finance accounting and reporting standards, principles and practices.
- Self-starter and excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. SAP) and MS Office.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
