The Future of Mobility
Introduced in July 2018, Setel is a mobile platform that aims to delight customers by innovating for better, inclusive mobility. Setel serves customers across Malaysia by powering one app as the constant companion to ease motorists’ journey across fueling, parking, EV charging, motor insurance, road tax, auto assistance, general purchases, and more across an ecosystem of PETRONAS petrol stations, retail partners, and online merchants.
In this role you will:
- Assist the small-yet-mighty UX Writing team in creating writing materials for user interfaces (UI) and user-facing communications.
- Support translation efforts and assist in managing translation requests.
- Collaborate with our product designers to create a seamless user experience.
- Uphold and contribute to the content style guide to ensure consistency in tone, language, and terminology across Setel.
- Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.

- Would like to spend a minimum of 4-6 months with us from January 2/January 16 2025
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Social Science, Linguistics, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Have a writing portfolio or writing samples that showcase your writing skills.
- Bonus: Can also write in a second language: Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, or Tamil.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
