Role Purpose:
The Data Analyst continuously evolves and provides all core reporting interfaces and deliverables required for tracking the performance metrics for each product portfolio. The responsibilities include the administration and execution of product metric reporting, with a focus on the health of our transactional experiences in orders, payments and loyalty, and working with the Analytics Engineer in developing core datasets that ensure availability and granularity of important product data. This role will require fluency in SQL, and ability to communicate effectively, and ability to work across technical teams e.g. product and engineering as well as business teams where required.
In this role you will:
- Continuously collaborate with senior product stakeholders to understand the key product KPIs and goals and translate them into reporting specifications.
- Manages the administration and execution of the KPI reporting by designing and maintaining the appropriate reporting interfaces and deliverables e.g. spreadsheets, dashboards, automated emails.
- Actively monitor product KPIs and progress to product portfolios, identify variations in performance and alert product stakeholders accordingly.
- Effectively prioritize and support important ad-hoc queries and analysis needed by product stakeholders e.g. product portfolio meetings.
- Support training & onboarding for product team members and company to the various existing product metrics.
- Work with Analytics Engineer and fellow data team members in developing core datasets that ensure self-service availability of important product data, with the right format and granularity.
- Monitor and maintain dashboards on the health of our transactional experiences across orders, payments and loyalty (error rates etc) and deep dive where necessary.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of existing and emerging metrics as needed for analytics and diligently update the data glossary.
- Contribute to the data team knowledge base and overall team growth through effective work documentation & peer knowledge sharing.
- Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or other related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of solid experience in data analytics work.
- Understanding of the key drivers within the transactional B2C/payments/loyalty domain is preferred, but not a requirement.
- Financial services experience is a plus.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Ability to access a relational database using SQL with fluent ability to understand, write and modify SQL code.
- Experience with navigating databases or data warehouses to understand raw data sources and performing data cleansing and dimensional modeling tasks.
- Experience with Product Analytics tools e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics.
- Ability to leverage data visualization tools to create reports and dashboards e.g. Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau. MicroStrategy.
- Familiarity with setting up metrics and key performance indicators for either B2C or B2B products.
- Familiarity with customer analytics concepts e.g. conversion, segmentation, retention, funnel analysis.
