Role Purpose:
The Social Media Executive is someone who is an avid social media user who is passionate
about driving relevant and effective content marketing and be a brand steward in the social media space. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute social media content/campaigns, liaise and build relationship with key influencers/community for the brand. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and liaise with multiple stakeholders in carrying out your daily tasks.
In This Role You Will Handle:
- Design, build, and maintain social media strategy & presence for the company and its brands.
- Navigate through social media solutions to identify trends and customer insights with the objective of building relevant and inspiring content.
- Create original content, not limited to text, photo, graphic and video formats.
- Manage all social media accounts for the company and its brands.
- Manage postings of content and engage with social followers to maintain a healthy engagement rate.
- Drive traffic and follower engagement on all company owned social media platforms.
- Measure and track performance of social media content/campaigns, for reporting of social media performance including ROI vs investments.
- Monitor web traffic and conversion driven from social media
- Identify, establish, and build a relationship with key influencers/communities.
- Collaborate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, agencies, vendors and partners to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks.
- Monitor social chatter and report brand & competitive activities.
- Stay updated with the latest social trends, tools and competitive activities.
- Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
You're A Great Fit If You Have:
- Degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Business Administration.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in marketing/branding/social media background.
- Well versed and enjoy working on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and Threads.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and Malay. Mandarin is a plus but not necessary.
- Excellent presentation and speaking skills.
- Strong command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Experience in project management is an added advantage.
- Able to adapt and perform in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
