Introduced in July 2018, Setel is a mobile platform that aims to delight customers by innovating for better, inclusive mobility. Setel serves customers across Malaysia by powering one app as the constant companion to ease motorists’ journey across fueling, parking, EV charging, motor insurance, road tax, auto assistance, general purchases, and more across an ecosystem of PETRONAS petrol stations, retail partners, and online merchants.
In This Role You Will:
- Help with the creation of various types of visual assets, including social media graphics, advertisement banners, print materials, and more.
- Collaborate with senior graphic designers and cross-functional departments to understand project requirements and design briefs
- Collaborate with product designers and writers to review the final visual assets to ensure consistency with our products and the tone of voice.
- Utilize standard design patterns and materials using modern design software and tools to execute design tasks and projects following the brand guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh and creative ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Learn and grow through hands-on experience, guided mentorship, and exposure to real-world design projects.
- Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements
You’re A Great Fit If You Have:
- Internship duration of 3-6 months
- A passion for design and an interest to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous design works, either from personal projects, freelance projects or coursework.
- Basic proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effect), Figma or Sketch.
- Good understanding of design principles, especially typography and layout composition.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to execute design tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and present ideas to stakeholders, especially within limited timelines.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude in processing constructive feedback, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
