Role Overview
We are seeking a smart, articulate, and well-organized IT & Information Systems Manager to help us make the most of our cloud-based ecosystem. The right candidate is not just technically competent, but thrives on solving problems, making decisions, and driving change across a small, high-performing organization.
You will be responsible for rationalizing and integrating existing platforms (e.g., Teamwork, Monday.com, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), identifying redundancies, replacing underperforming tools, and supporting the implementation of a new accounting system. You will work directly with the COO and department heads to ensure our systems support our ability to work fast, smart, and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud System Optimization & Integration
- Map out the current tool ecosystem (Teamwork, Monday.com, Google, Microsoft) and identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and integration opportunities.
- Lead the replacement of outdated or underused systems with better-fitting alternatives.
- Make strategic decisions on Google vs Microsoft usage aiming to simplify, reduce costs, and improve internal consistency.
2. Internal IT Leadership & Support
- Serve as the go-to internal technical expert, capable of solving day-to-day operational IT issues with speed and clarity.
- Improve internal understanding of core platforms, processes, and permissions (especially within Microsoft 365 and SharePoint).
- Ensure staff are onboarded properly on systems and have the right access and knowledge to use them effectively.
3. System Implementation & Project Management
- Support and co-lead the implementation of a new accounting system, ensuring smooth integration with existing tools.
- Manage small-scale internal IT and automation projects with clear documentation, prioritization, and follow-up.
- Champion pragmatic, no-nonsense technology decisions that serve business value.
4. Data Flow & User Experience Focus
- Ensure systems speak to each other and allow for a seamless user experience.
- Help build reporting pipelines or dashboards where appropriate (e.g., project tracking, finance insights).
- Prioritize usability and clarity for non-technical users, avoiding complexity for its own sake.
5. Change Management & Internal Adoption
- Work closely with functional leads to understand pain points and translate them into pragmatic digital solutions.
- Guide the organization through changes in tools and workflows with a user-friendly, solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years’ experience in hands-on IT management, cloud platform administration, or internal systems integration.
- Strong technical background in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Google Workspace, and SaaS integration (Zapier, APIs, etc.).
- Experience replacing, interconnecting, or optimizing project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Monday, Teamwork, Asana, Notion).
- Familiar with basic accounting software implementation (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo, NetSuite) or ERP integration.
- Fast-thinking, logical, and pragmatic. You make decisions efficiently and explain them clearly.
- Based in Thailand, with excellent communication skills in English and an ability to work cross-functionally in a lean team.
- Not afraid to dig in and solve problems yourself, while also bringing structure and discipline to others.
Soft Skills That Matter:
- Agile & Resourceful – You thrive on constraints and can move quickly.
- Organized & Clear – You structure information well and make life easier for users.
- User-Friendly – You understand that change is hard, and you help others make the leap.
- Decisive & Focused – You don’t over-engineer; you pick the right tool for the job and move forward.
