Senior Website Project Manager

The Senior Website Project Manager at QUO will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale website development projects. This role requires strong leadership, refined digital instincts, and proven experience with websites as well as broader digital channels. You will act as both a hands-on project manager and a trusted strategic consultant, helping clients navigate the intersection of business goals, brand expression, and digital innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Discovery and Planning

  • Lead client discovery sessions to uncover business, brand, and technical needs.
  • Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables with clarity and precision.
  • Translate discovery findings into functional briefs, wireframes, and architecture.
  • Plan user journeys and map digital functionality to strategic outcomes.

Project Execution and Delivery

  • Prepare and deliver internal and partner project briefings.
  • Fully utilise existing technical management tools for project administration
  • Oversee all phases of project delivery, from kick-off, through development, to go-live.
  • Ensure timelines, resources, and outputs align with defined project plans.
  • Facilitate design and development reviews, ensuring client needs are met.
  • Resolve obstacles and keep the team moving towards delivery milestones.

Client Management and Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project or support related client communication and requests.
  • Conduct regular project status updates, reviews, and post-launch debriefs.
  • Identify new opportunities through project insights and client collaboration.
  • Build trust with clients by offering user experience and technical advice grounded in digital expertise.

Quality Control and Performance Monitoring

  • Implement QA protocols and oversee functional, design, and content testing.
  • Review and audit designs and websites for adherence to UX, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Monitor live site performance and coordinate support, optimization and update tasks.

Team Collaboration and Leadership

  • Coordinate internal teams across design, UX, content, development, and testing.
  • Set delivery expectations and ensure alignment across all project functions.
  • Support and mentor junior project staff in execution and client handling.
  • Drive resource planning and identify gaps or needs proactively.

AI Usage Within the PM Function

  • Leverage AI tools to optimize scheduling, resourcing, and risk management.
  • Use AI to analyze data and generate client-facing performance insights.
  • Integrate AI-driven productivity into project planning workflows.
  • Stay informed on emerging AI tools for content, testing, and QA automation.

Digital Strategy Support

  • Contribute insights on broader digital channels such as marketing, apps, immersive media and CRM.
  • Translate business and brand strategy into actionable digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with strategy teams on audits, positioning, and benchmarks.
  • Bring knowledge of omnichannel behavior into web planning sessions.

Process and Methodology Improvement

  • Contribute to the refinement of QUO’s project management frameworks.
  • Research new tools and platforms for project delivery efficiency.
  • Pilot agile methods to enhance flexibility and communication in execution.
  • Support development of standard operating procedures and documentation.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Compile monthly and end-of-project reports.
  • Track engagement metrics, SEO performance, and site conversion outcomes.
  • Coordinate technical audits and lead data-based site evaluations.
  • Share learnings with internal teams to inform future projects.
  • Contribute to project case studies

New Business and Pre-Sales Support

  • Support proposal development through timeline and budget inputs.
  • Attend client briefings and assist in scoping for complex web solutions.
  • Help validate client requirements during RFP and pitching processes.
  • Offer strategic input during negotiations and solution framing.

Training and Knowledge Sharing

  • Train clients and internal teams on CMS usage (WordPress & Ad Hoc) and project tools.
  • Document project workflows and contribute to knowledge repositories.
  • Lead internal sessions on new trends, tools, or methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.

  • Communication and Teamwork: Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience leading diverse internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Awareness: Working familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO/SEM tools, analytics tools, web programming technologies and AI tools and services.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Communications, IT, or related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus

Work Experience:

  • 8+ years managing digital/website projects end-to-end
  • 5+ years in cross-functional agency or consultancy environments
  • Demonstrated experience in hospitality, travel, or destination brands preferred

English level:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English (Thai language an advantage)

IT and Technical skills

  • Deep familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Drupal, custom platforms)
  • Strong grasp of SEO/SEM fundamentals and tools (GA4, Search Console, GTMetrix, SEMRush)
  • Comfortable with wireframing, sitemaps, and prototyping tools
  • Experience with project tools like Teamwork, Monday, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello, Basecamp
  • Functional experience of using AI tools in the workplace

Other qualifications preferred

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications a plus
  • UX design thinking or research methodology exposure
  • Understanding of digital accessibility and inclusive design
