Sales Director

SPECTRUM, Golden Equator Group


The community arm of the Golden Equator Group is looking for a high-performing Sales Director to help us managing a fast growing sales team as we move into an aggressive expansion phase.


The candidate will be responsible for owning and achieving revenue targets for the SPECTRUM community space business, our DoorXXV hospitality vertical as well as our Pinnacle learning business.


You will also be accountable for The Simple Sum sales team, helping to guide revenue strategy at a fast growing personal finance education platform aimed at educating millennials and Gen Z’s.


Reporting to the group leadership team, the Sales Director will be in charge of identifying new revenue opportunities, developing key growth sales strategies, implementing action plans and managing a growing team of sales people to hit their sales targets across multiple business units.


Sales director duties also include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.



Role and Responsibilities:

·      Own and hit annual sales targets for the different business units under Spore65

·      Create sales forecasts and projections

·      Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

·      Manage and coach a team of sales people and revenue focused managers

·      Maintain a strong sales pipeline and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

·      Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

·      Effectively represent and communicate the value proposition of the business


Skills and Requirements:

·      Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

·      Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director

·      Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

·      Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

·      Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

·      Excellent verbal and written communications skills

·      BA/BS degree or equivalent
