We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching basic Mandarin to primary and secondary students, fostering a love for the language and culture while ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of primary and secondary students.
- Teach basic Mandarin language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Encourage student participation and create a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance language learning.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably with primary and secondary students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
- Patience and enthusiasm for teaching.
