We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our Gifted Kids Department. The ideal candidate will assess, support, and enhance the physical development, motor skills, and overall well-being of gifted children, including those with asynchronous development or mild physical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical and functional assessments to identify motor skill development, posture, coordination, and movement patterns.
  • Develop individualized physiotherapy intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions focusing on gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility.
  • Support children with sensory-motor integration difficulties or physical challenges affecting learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, and parents to ensure holistic development.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate therapy records and reports.
  • Design and implement group activities or movement programs to enhance physical development.
  • Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations or ergonomic adjustments.
  • Educate parents and staff on exercises, posture, and strategies to support children’s physical health.
  • Ensure a safe and engaging therapy environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Valid practicing license/registration (as per local regulatory body).
  • Experience working with children, preferably in educational or special needs settings.
  • Knowledge of child development, especially gifted or twice-exceptional (2e) learners.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
