The Videographer & Video Editor is tasked with producing high-quality visual content that effectively promotes the school’s brand, academic excellence, student life, and various events. This role plays a crucial part in supporting marketing, admissions, and school communications by creating engaging videos, graphics, and digital materials that adhere to the school’s branding guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos for school marketing, social media, website, and events.
- Produce content such as promotional videos, event highlights, classroom activities, interviews, and student showcases.
- Handle video equipment, lighting, sound, and post-production editing.
- Ensure videos align with the school’s brand identity and messaging.
- Design creative materials including posters, banners, brochures, flyers, social media posts, newsletters, and digital ads.
- Prepare visual content for school events, enrollment campaigns, open days, and celebrations.
- Ensure consistency in branding across all design materials.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions teams to develop creative concepts.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity for the school across digital and print platforms.
- Support rebranding or campaign launches when required.
- Create visuals and videos optimized for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Assist in managing and updating digital content for the school website.
- Stay updated with current design, video, and social media trends.
- Provide photography and videography support for school events, performances, sports days, graduations, and open days.
- Edit and deliver content within agreed timelines for promotional use.
- Organize and maintain digital files, photo libraries, and video archives.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of cameras, editing software, and equipment.
- Comply with school policies, child safeguarding, and data privacy guidelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Film, Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in videography and graphic design (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, etc.).
- Strong creative, communication, and time-management skills.
