NGO - Ecosystem Onboarding & Readiness Lead

OTHERS
Malaysia

Why Nexus Global Operator / Why Now

  • Shape how IPSOs and ecosystem participants connect to and launch on the Nexus platform
  • Build a repeatable onboarding model for a growing cross-border payments ecosystem
  • Coordinate complex journeys spanning business, technology, operations, governance and compliance
  • Influence launch decisions by giving stakeholders a transparent view of readiness, risks and dependencies
  • Help participants move from initial engagement to stable production operations with confidence

TL;DR

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding and readiness journey for IPSOs and other Nexus ecosystem participants
  • Build integrated onboarding plans that connect business, technical, operational and governance workstreams
  • Lead readiness reviews and provide a clear view of whether participants are prepared for production launch
  • Drive risks, dependencies, defects and actions to closure across internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate testing, production cutover and post-launch stabilization without owning detailed technical implementation
  • Create a scalable onboarding methodology that improves the speed, quality and predictability of future launches

Why This Role Matters

  • Turn a complex, multi-party onboarding journey into a coordinated and predictable path to production
  • Prevent incomplete activities, unresolved risks and cross-functional dependencies from disrupting participant launches
  • Give leaders and stakeholders a reliable view of onboarding progress, launch readiness and required interventions
  • Ensure business, technology, operational and governance requirements converge before go-live approval
  • Strengthen the participant experience through clear ownership, disciplined communication and timely decisions
  • Capture lessons from each onboarding journey to make future launches faster and more consistent

What You Will Actually Do

  • Own integrated onboarding plans, governance forums, milestones and readiness criteria for IPSOs and ecosystem participants
  • Act as the primary coordination point across IPSOs, PayNet, NGP, vendors and internal delivery workstreams
  • Challenge workstream owners on progress, evidence and unresolved dependencies, escalating when delivery or readiness is at risk
  • Coordinate onboarding testing, defect resolution, operational preparation and go-live readiness reviews
  • Lead production cutover coordination and ensure accountable owners understand their actions, timings and escalation paths
  • Drive hypercare and early-life stabilization before transitioning the participant into steady-state operations

Examples of This Role in Practice

  • An IPSO’s technical integration is progressing, but its operational support model is incomplete: identify the readiness gap, confirm accountable owners and prevent premature go-live approval
  • A critical dependency between NGP, a vendor and an internal workstream is threatening the launch date: bring the parties together, establish recovery actions and escalate the decision required
  • Testing is nearing completion with several unresolved defects: clarify their operational impact and enable the appropriate owners to decide whether remediation or an accepted workaround is required
  • A participant believes it is ready to launch, but required governance evidence is missing: challenge the readiness status and define what must be completed before approval
  • Production cutover involves teams across multiple organizations and time zones: build a coordinated runbook with clear decision points, owners and fallback arrangements
  • Early-life incidents emerge after launch: coordinate hypercare, track stabilization measures and incorporate lessons into the onboarding methodology

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Bring 8+ years of experience across programme delivery, business operations, implementation or participant onboarding
  • Demonstrate experience coordinating technology-enabled launches across complex, multi-organization stakeholder environments
  • Apply strong judgment across operational readiness, dependency management, risk escalation and go-live coordination
  • Turn incomplete or conflicting information into clear plans, decisions, ownership and executive reporting
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders without relying on direct authority or owning their technical decisions
  • Strengthen your fit through experience in payments, banking, fintech, scheme operations or cross-border payment ecosystems
