Shape the Future of Cross-Border Payments
Nexus Global Operator (NGO) is the joint venture entity established by PayNet and NETS to serve as the Nexus Technical Operator, responsible for building, operating and securing the core technology platform for Nexus. Nexus is designed to transform cross-border payments by connecting domestic instant payment systems across markets through a single, standardised platform. This is a rare opportunity to help build critical global payments infrastructure, backed by two national payment infrastructure operators with proven experience in world class real-time payment ecosystems.

What You’ll Own
1. Delivery & Project Management
- Own execution of all technology build and implementation projects across the organization
- Comply to delivery governance, project frameworks, and reporting structures
- Lead planning and execution of:
- Payment switch platform implementation, operations and enhancements
- IPSO and FX provider onboarding automation implementations
- Cross-border payment connectivity and scheme integrations
- Ensure projects meet scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives
- Ensure proper risk monitoring and issue tracking with timely reporting and escalations
- Manage interdependencies across product, technology, operations, and ecosystem stakeholders
2. Testing Governance & Industry Testing Execution
- Own end-to-end testing governance across all delivery programs
- Define and manage testing strategies including:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Industry and participant testing (PAT)
- Coordinate testing windows, certification requirements, and operational readiness milestones for certification, readiness testing and structured go-live and cutover planning
- Establish testing frameworks, environments, schedules, and entry/exit criteria
- Manage defect governance, prioritization, and resolution tracking
- Act as primary escalation points for participant delivery and testing issues
- Ensure consistent communication, progress tracking, and readiness reporting across all participants
3. Vendor & Partner Management
- Act as primary contact with technology vendors, system integrators, and delivery partners
- Manage delivery performance against contractual SLAs and delivery milestones
- Oversee delivery risk, escalation management, and remediation planning
- Ensure vendor outputs align with internal architecture and operational standards
4. Delivery Governance & Execution Excellence
- Establish delivery KPIs and executive reporting dashboards
- Drive disciplined change, release, and deployment governance
- Ensure proper documentation, testing traceability, and operational handover
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the execution bridge between:
- Product leadership
- Engineering & Architecture teams
- Operations
- External ecosystem participants
- Translate product and business requirements into executable delivery plans
- Support regulatory and operational readiness for platform launches
Who You Are
You are a seasoned leader who understands both payments of infrastructure and ecosystem complexity. You’re equally strong in strategy and execution, and comfortable navigating governance-driven environments.
What You Bring
- 12 or more years’ experience in large-scale technology delivery or program management
- Proven experience delivering payment infrastructure, switching platforms, or financial network integrations
- Demonstrated experience managing industry-wide testing or ecosystem implementations involving multiple external participants
- Strong background managing multi-vendor delivery environments
- Experience working with payment networks, scheme operators, or financial infrastructure providers
- Strong executive stakeholder management skills
You’ll Stand Out If You Have Skills/Experience in
- ISO 20022 implementations
- Rreal-time payments or clearing connectivity programs
- Multi-country payment ecosystem rollouts
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications
