SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES


The Senior Principal Specialist (Senior Manager), Early Talent, will support the Senior Director in leading PayNet Akar’s mission to develop future-ready talent for PayNet and the financial services industry. Acting as an alternate to the Senior Director in their absence, the Senior Manager plays a critical role in ensuring continuity and alignment of strategic initiatives.

This role involves formulating and executing strategies, managing program deliverables, fostering partnerships, and driving early talent initiatives that integrate technical skills with values-based interventions. A key focus is program management, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives while promoting organizational values and supporting the development of early talent as future industry leaders.


KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Support PayNet Akar’s Strategies

  • Partner and support the Senior Director to develop and implement PayNet Akar’s strategic objectives.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including technology leaders, academia, government agencies, associations, etc. to support strategy execution.

2. Program Management

  • Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely deliverables and alignment with PayNet Akar’s goals.
  • Monitor project milestones, address challenges, and ensure effective execution of initiatives.

3. Execute Early Talent Initiatives

  • Coordinate and deliver programs designed to nurture early talent for PayNet and the financial services industry.
  • Ensure initiatives align with organizational goals and integrate both technical skills and values-driven behaviors.

4. Stakeholder Communication and Engagement

  • Establish and maintain communication channels with stakeholders, including senior leaders, technology partners, and educational institutions.
  • Provide regular updates and participate in strategic discussions to ensure continued support for early talent programs.

5. Leadership

  • Guide and mentor team members to meet program objectives and align their efforts with PayNet Akar’s strategic vision.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, clarity, and accountability within the team.

6. Model and Promote Organizational Values

  • Uphold and exemplify PayNet’s core values: Aspiration, Curiosity, Grit, and Integrity.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, ethical behavior, and collaboration throughout PayNet Akar’s initiatives.

7. Cultivate Volunteerism

  • Encourage and manage volunteer participation in PayNet Akar programs.
  • Ensure volunteer efforts align with the overarching goals of PayNet Akar.

8. Data Collection and Analysis

  • Lead in systematic data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Lead in the development of dashboards or systems for tracking talent progress and program outcomes.

9. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Generate reports highlighting program successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance program effectiveness.

QUALIFICATION


·        Bachelor's degree Social Sciences or relevant. 

  • Minimum OF 8 years of experience in leadership roles, with a focus in the Human Resources function, organizational development, program management or related areas.
  • Proven track record of strategic collaboration and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams, fostering a culture of growth mindset, innovation and excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
