SUMMARY
Main objective is to drive digital adoption initiatives, targeting Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). This role focusses on onboarding MSMEs to digital payment solutions, guiding them through digital tools that help to enhance their business efficiency and empowering them to leverage the digital channels platform.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding and Engagement with MSMEs
- Developing and executing onboarding program with MSMEs, including experience with digital platforms that facilitate MSMEs digital adoption.
- Experience with training, educating or supporting MSMEs through digital transitions is highly valued.
Building Relationships
- Establish and maintain partnership with MSMEs associations, government agencies and other key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with these partners to drive initiatives that facilitate MSMEs digital adoption and address industry- challenges
Advocacy
- Advocate for policies that create favorable environment for MSME digital growth. Collaborate with government bodies to address regulatory and structural challenges that impact MSME digital adoption
- Understand MSME barriers to digital adoption, gathering data, reviews and market analysis for actionable insights for both policy and advocacy and organizational strategy.
Leadership
- Ability to develop a strategic roadmap, prioritize initiatives and anticipate future trends in the digital MSMEs ecosystem.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience specifically focused on MSME onboarding, digital enablement or a closely related field. This includes direct experience working with MSMEs to understand their unique challenges, business environments and support needs.
- Must be well versed with PayNet products/services
- Individuals in this role must:
- (Ability to travel as needed to facilitate MSME onboarding and training sessions
- Familiarity with digital onboarding platforms
- Display strong empathy skills, able to listen effectively and have good diplomacy skills
- Passions for enabling small business through digital transformation
