The Role: Junior HRBP

As a Junior HRBP at One People Team (OPT), you will work closely with the Managing Partner and be trained hands-on across real consulting projects, real clients, and real HR challenges.

You will support multiple HR projects across Malaysia and Singapore and learn how to build and deliver HR solutions that create real impact. This includes projects such as performance appraisal systems, employee handbooks, HR policies, pulse surveys, talent initiatives, and culture-related work.

This role is designed for someone early in their HR career who wants to be developed into a confident, well-rounded HRBP. You will shadow client conversations, support project planning, drive project delivery, and gradually build the confidence to communicate directly with client stakeholders.

You will also play a big role in coordinating deliverables, managing timelines, and ensuring client stakeholders feel supported, clear, and confident through our work.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Support HR consulting projects across multiple clients in Malaysia and Singapore (design, coordination, delivery, follow-through).
  • Assist in building HR deliverables such as employee handbooks, HR policies, performance appraisal materials, and other HR toolkits.
  • Manage client and stakeholder communication including updates, timelines, expectations, and project coordination.
  • Support briefings and training sessions to help client teams implement the HR initiatives delivered.
  • Maintain strong project management habits including task tracking, planning, prioritisation, documentation, and confidentiality management.

Who This Role Is For

  • An early-career HR professional with 1 to 3 years of experience who wants to be groomed into a confident, well-rounded HRBP.
  • Someone who enjoys working with people and can manage multiple stakeholders professionally (internal and/or external).
  • A proactive and timely communicator who can write and speak confidently in English and Bahasa (Mandarin is a big plus).
  • A detail-driven planner who is highly organised, great at prioritising, and able to multitask across multiple clients and projects.
  • Someone mature, discreet, and dependable, who understands the importance of confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
