One People Team (OPT) is a bespoke HR advisory and leadership training company that partners with businesses to help them grow through their people.

OPT has two business pillars:

1. OPT Advisory: strategic HR business partnering
2. OPT Academy: leadership development, workshops, coaching, and learning programs

We are expanding the Academy in 2026, and we’re looking for someone special to help us build it.

We work closely with startups, scale-ups, and family-owned businesses across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Our clients come to us not just for advice, but for real partnership. We care about their growth like it’s our own.

The Role: Learning & Growth Specialist (OPT Academy)

You’ll work directly with the Managing Partner to grow and lead the next phase of OPT Academy. This role is a mix of business development, content research and creation, workshop design, and client experience.

You’ll be at the heart of how we create impactful learning journeys, from the first client conversation to the final workshop slide. This is for someone who’s excited to build something meaningful, with a deep love for learning, people, and purpose.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

✅ Identify new client opportunities and lead business development efforts for OPT Academy

✅ Collaborate with the Managing Partner to grow and shape the Academy's programs

✅ Research topics in leadership, personal growth, communication, culture, and learning

✅ Design engaging workshop content, tools, and participant materials

✅ Support and co-facilitate leadership programs and workshops

✅ Plan and co-facilitate teambuildings

✅ Manage the full participant and client experience with care and detail

✅ Work with partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning journeys

✅ Build beautiful, high-impact PowerPoint presentations and workshop decks

✅ Support and contribute to any additional projects or initiatives that are critical to the company’s success and strategic goals

Compensation and Growth

This role comes with a modest base monthly income, plus a monthly performance-based incentive. Your growth and income will be tied to the value you bring through client work, program delivery, and business development.
