Role Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for leading the company's product strategy, portfolio development, and lifecycle management across connectivity and IoT solutions.

This role oversees the development of products and customer solutions for enterprise customers, including sectors such as banking, retail, and other critical infrastructure environments.

The role also leads customer solution design, translating market requirements into scalable connectivity solutions. The Product Manager will work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and technology vendors to ensure the company's product portfolio remains competitive and aligned with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

Define and lead the overall product strategy and roadmap for connectivity and loT solutions.

Identify market opportunities and develop new products and service offerings aligned with business growth objectives.

Manage the full product lifecycle, including product design, launch, enhancement, and retirement.

Ensure products remain competitive, scalable, and commercially viable.

Align product strategy with enterprise and utility market requirements.

2. Solution Design & Customer Solutioning

Lead the design of customer solutions based on the company's connectivity and IoT product portfolio.

Translate customer requirements into technicaL solution architectures and deployment models.

Develop reference architectures and solution frameworks for enterprise and utility deployments.

Ensure solutions are scalable and aligned with operational capabilities.

Work with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of product solutions.

3. Pre-Sales & Market Enablement

Work closely with sales teams to design and position connectivity solutions for enterprise customers.

Lead technical discussions with customers during solution design and

proposal stages.

Support the preparation of technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation.

Enable internal teams with product knowledge, use cases, and solution

capabilities.

4. Vendor & Tender Management

Lead solution development for RFI, RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions.

Evaluate technology platforms, vendors, and infrastructure solutions.

Ensure tender responses align with product capabilities, solution design, and

operational feasibility.

Maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and partners.

5. Product Leadership

Lead and develop the Product Management function across connectivity and loT solutions.

Establish product governance, product development frameworks, and lifecycle management processes.

Drive alignment between product strategy, engineering capabilities, and sales objectives.

Mentor and guide product managers or solution specialists within the team.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, operations, and sales teams to ensure

successful product delivery.

Align product development with customer needs, operational capabilities, and

business strategy.

Present product strategies, solution capabilities, and roadmap updates to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.

7. Governance & Documentation

Maintain product documentation, solution architectures, and product specifications.

Ensure compliance with technical standards and organizational guidelines.

Establish best practices for product lifecycle management and solution

development.

Product Portfolio Ownership

The Head of Product will oversee the strategy and lifecycle management of the following solution domains:

Managed Connectivity Services

  • Enterprise and utility WAN connectivity
  • Multi-carrier SIM connectivity
  • Primary and backup connectivity services
  • IoT Connectivity Solutions

loT SIM connectivity platforms

  • Communication infrastructure for sensors and remote devices
  • Connectivity for remote monitoring and infrastructure systems

Network Infrastructure Solutions

  • Industrial routers and edge gateways
  • High availability connectivity architecture
  • Edge connectivity solutions

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in product-driven revenue
  • Successful launch of new connectivity and IoT products
  • Expansion of product adoption across enterprise and utility customers
  • Contribution to strategic tenders and infrastructure projects
  • Product profitability and commercial performance
  • Alignment of product roadmap with market demand and company strategy

Critical Experience Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate experience in at least two or more of the following areas:

Network & Connectivity Solutions

Experience with technologies such as:

  • WAN connectivity
  • LTE / 4G / 5G networks
  • VPN, MPLS, or SD-WAN
  • Industrial routers or gateway infrastructure
  • IoT or Industrial Connectivity

Experience working with:

  • loT connectivity platforms
  • Remote monitoring systems

Enterprise Deployments

Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure deployments such as:

  • Banking / ATM connectivity networks
  • Retail or enterprise multi-site connectivity
  • Infrastructure projects involving RFP or tender processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, connectivity solutions, or infrastructure technology
  • Experience in telecommunications, managed connectivity services, IoT platforms, or network infrastructure
