Role Summary
The Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supports the execution of Group HR strategies while managing HR operations across multiple entities. This role partners with business leaders to ensure effective HR service delivery, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in people practices. The HRBP balances strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution across workforce planning, performance management, talent development and HR governance. The position also supports licensing, regulatory compliance and statutory reporting requirements relevant to workforce management across the Group.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to translate organisational objectives into effective HR strategies, workforce planning initiatives and people practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, organisational effectiveness, performance management and HR policy interpretation.
- Oversee HR operations across the employee lifecycle including recruitment support, onboarding, employment contracts, benefits administration and HR systems management.
- Lead performance management, reward and talent development initiatives including performance reviews, compensation exercises and development of high-potential employees.
- Support workforce planning and monitor headcount, manpower costs and workforce budgets in collaboration with finance and business teams.
- Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary processes, investigations and conflict resolution while ensuring fair and compliant application of HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory reporting requirements and regulatory obligations including workforce-related filings and employment documentation.
- Manage regulatory licensing, registrations and related documentation including renewals, compliance tracking and coordination with relevant authorities where required.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics including headcount, turnover and other workforce metrics to support leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related
discipline.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation, HR policies and regulatory
requirements.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to interpret workforce data
and support business decisions.
• Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in HR generalist or HR Business Partner
roles.
• Experience supporting multiple entities or business units within a group structure.
• Hands-on experience in employee relations, performance management,
compensation processes and HR operations.
• Experience managing statutory reporting, licensing matters or regulatory compliance
processes.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with business leaders and manage multiple
stakeholders.
