Job Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Country Sales Manager to lead market penetration and revenue growth within Philippines, focusing on high-value managed services for connectivity, cutting-edge digital solutions (including front-end platforms), and integrated payments solutions. This is a senior leadership role responsible for securing complex, enterprise-level contracts across the Utilities, Banking & Financial Services, and Retail verticals. The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry expertise to position our innovative portfolio as a catalyst for digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute robust, industry-specific go-to-market strategies targeting C-suite executives (CIOs, CFOs, Chief Digital Officers) within the target verticals.
- Integrated Solution Selling: Drive the sale of bundled solutions comprising:
- Managed Services Connectivity: Enterprise-grade secure connectivity (SD-WAN, IoT networks, hybrid cloud networking).
- Digital Solutions: Front-end banking platforms, digital customer experience (CX) tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Payments Solutions: Integrated payment gateways, mobile payment systems, and secure transaction processing services.
- Industry Vertical Management:
- Banking: Lead sales cycles for core digital transformation initiatives and secure payment infrastructure deals.
- Utilities: Position connectivity and digital platforms to support smart infrastructures and deliver operational efficiency across distributed locations in the Power, Energy and Water industries.
- Retail: Provide secured, cost effective managed connectivity services and digital platforms for retail customers.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and strategic partners to secure long-term contracts.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-caliber sales team to maximize market coverage and achieve sales targets.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accountability for country-wide revenue goals, ensuring accurate pipeline management and data hygiene within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Contract Negotiation: Lead and close complex negotiations for multi-year managed services agreements and large-scale platform implementations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership/management role within the technology sector. Must have significant, demonstrable sales experience within the Utilities, Banking, or Retail industries.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record selling managed services, enterprise software (specifically FinTech or Digital CX platforms), and payment technologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of enterprise networking infrastructure, cloud services, digital platforms, payment industry standards (PCI-DSS), and IT managed services models.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills. Ability to articulate complex value propositions that drive business outcomes.
- Language: Fluency in local business language and English is essential.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the country to meet clients and support field operations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets for managed services and software licenses.
- Total contract value (TCV) signed within targeted verticals.
- Sales pipeline coverage and conversion rates.
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) vs. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) ratio.
