Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives / Special Project

The role is a high-level position responsible for overseeing and executing specific projects that are often complex, strategic, or outside the regular course of business. These projects can range from mergers and acquisitions to new product launches, organizational restructuring, or major system implementations.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies.
  • Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, and process improvements.
  • Develop financial models to analyze revenue, cost structures, and profitability.
  • Design, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to extract and visualize data.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of business data across systems.
  • Review and assess new business opportunities (acquisitions, new products etc) and develop robust financial modelling
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation.
  • Assess risk, provide advice, and propose potential solutions and/or alternative business decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
