We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair medical aesthetic equipment across Indonesia. Based in Jakarta and reporting to the Sales Manager, the Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, and delivering excellent service in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience in medical or aesthetic equipment, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Setup:

  • Perform installation, setup, and calibration of medical aesthetic equipment at customer sites, ensuring devices are operating according to specifications.
  • Provide initial training to customers on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
  • Ensure all installations comply with company standards and local regulations.

Maintenance & Repair:

  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers experiencing equipment malfunctions.

Technical Support & Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer service requests promptly, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent support and technical advice on equipment performance.
  • Educate customers on best practices for equipment maintenance and care.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
  • Generate and submit service reports, detailing any issues, resolutions, and recommendations for future service.
  • Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams regarding recurring issues or potential product improvements.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management:

  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained for service visits.
  • Order replacement parts as needed and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Follow established procedures for handling, servicing, and maintaining medical equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and safety protocols within the medical aesthetic field.

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably with medical devices or aesthetic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing service calls and tasks.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and software used for equipment diagnostics and repair.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required.
  • Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with travel to customer sites across the country.
