What you'd be doing:
Core Finance & Tax Operations (Primary Focus)
- Full-Set Accounting: Own the day-to-day accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) maintenance.
- Invoicing & Collections: Generate and manage B2B client invoices, track collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Indonesian Tax Compliance: Ensure all transactions strictly comply with Indonesian tax laws (VAT/PPN, PPh 21, 23, 4(2)).
- Audit & Due Diligence: Keep books audit-ready, coordinate with corporate auditors for annual financial reviews, and assist with data requests for investor updates.
HR & Admin Operations (Secondary Focus)
- Weekly HR Sync & Reporting: Act as the primary internal contact for local HR matters.
- Payroll & Statutory Contributions: Support monthly payroll data preparation, coordinate directly with our external payroll provider and ensure payment hygiene.
- Basic HR Maintenance: Maintain employee records accurate and up-to-date within the HRIS platform for local office.
- Onboarding: Execute the administrative checklist for new hires and coordinate with our external laptop rental provider to
- Offboarding (Exits): Handle the administrative offboarding process, including coordinating final salary calculations/clearance, revoking system access, and managing the immediate return of the rented laptop to avoid unnecessary vendor fees.
- Basic office management to help with maintain office space and employee needs.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (mandatory)
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance, and/or HR
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks) is a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Must be able to communicate in English (spoken and written) to work with HQ
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working remotely or independently with regional teams
- This role is open to Indonesian nationals only, as it involves frequent communication with local authorities and suppliers, requiring fluency in the local language and familiarity with local practices.
