• Salary Range: Rp 17M - 19M gross per month

The Role

At Naluri, we use technology to make holistic health accessible, and we need your help to take our platforms to the next level. For this role, we aren't looking for an AI researcher to train foundational models from scratch; we are looking for a passionate Builder.

Your mission will be to bring the magic of the world's best Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) directly into our members' health journeys. You will be the bridge between cutting-edge AI and real-world human impact, building scalable backend APIs and ensuring our AI products are fast, safe, and reliable.

At Naluri, you will truly own the end-to-end lifecycle of our AI features. From creative prompt engineering and seamless third-party API integration, to smart database design and cloud deployment—you’ll be building the tools that empower our members and our coaching team every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Product Development: Integrate state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) into our core products.
• Backend & API Engineering: Design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs to serve AI features to our frontend applications or clients.
• LLMOps & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring for LLM usage, cost tracking, latency, and response quality.
• Safety & Guardrails: Design and implement AI guardrails to prevent hallucinations, prompt injection, and ensure the model’s outputs align with business logic and safety standards.
• System Architecture: Architect systems that handle AI context windows efficiently, utilizing databases, vector stores, and caching layers to minimize latency and API costs.
• Deployment & DevOps: Containerize applications and deploy them securely to cloud environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python (the industry standard for AI/data). Experience with TypeScript/Node.js or Go is a strong plus for building high-concurrency backend services.
• Backend Frameworks: Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs or GraphQL using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Express.js.
• AI/LLM Ecosystem: Deep understanding of Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows. Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or building custom orchestration pipelines.
• Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus, or pgvector).
• Strong knowledge of Caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) to optimize LLM API calls and reduce costs.
• LLMOps & Observability: Experience using tools like Langfuse, LangSmith, Helicone, Portkey, or custom solutions to monitor token usage, latency, and AI behavior.
• Cloud & Deployment: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Data Engineering Basics: Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) to help extract and clean the data used for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or AI context.
• Product & UX Sense: A strong understanding of user experience principles. Since you are building AI products, knowing how to handle AI latency (e.g., streaming text, loading states) to create a magical user experience is a huge plus.
• Full-Stack / Frontend Familiarity: Basic experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, Streamlit, or Next.js) to quickly spin up prototypes, internal chat UIs, or admin dashboards for the AI products you build.
