Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer Clinical Psychologist

The Clinical Psychologist will provide evidence-based psychological services to students, staff, and the wider community. This role combines clinical practice, teaching, and research to advance mental health awareness and support within the university and beyond.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and mental health support services.
• Develop and implement mental health programs and workshops.
• Supervise trainees and contribute to clinical training programs.
• Engage in research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Promote mental health awareness through outreach and community engagement.

📌 Minimum Qualifications

• Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensed/registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology or equivalent).
• Demonstrated clinical experience in assessment and therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Citations 3 years
• Scopus Publication past 3 years
• H-index 3 and above
