🔑 Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Apply student-centered pedagogy and digital learning methods
• Supervise projects, dissertations, and postgraduate research (Master’s & PhD)

Assessment & Academic Support

• Design and grade assignments, exams, and projects with timely feedback
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students

Research & Scholarly Activities

• Conduct original research and publish in Scopus-indexed journals
• Present findings at national and international conferences
• Engage in consultancy, innovation, and industry-academic collaborations
• Contribute to curriculum development with emerging trends

Academic Leadership & Administration

• Support programme development and accreditation compliance (MQA, etc.)
• Participate in faculty committees, outreach, and student recruitment
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collegial work culture

Industry & Community Engagement

• Build partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders
• Enhance student employability through internships and cooperative projects
• Represent UoC in professional bodies and advisory boards

Professional Growth

• Commit to continuous professional development via training, certifications, and conferences

🎓 Qualifications

Lecturer

• PhD/DBA in the relevant field from an accredited university/business school
• Successful teaching experience at tertiary level
• Active engagement in research or scholarly activities
• Fluency in English
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Senior Lecturer

• PhD/DBA in the relevant field from an accredited university/business school
• Proven teaching and supervision experience at tertiary level
• Evidence of Scopus publications (past 3 years), citations (past 3 years), and H-index >3
• Demonstrated curriculum development, programme leadership, or staff mentoring
• Track record in securing research grants, leading projects, and industry engagement
