Lecturer - Faculty of Business and Technology (Business Management)

Job Overview

The Lecturer will support the Faculty in delivering effective teaching and learning engagement with students. This role involves developing independent courses, producing teaching materials and methodologies, supervising students, and contributing to academic and industry outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct teaching and learning activities for diploma, degree, and master’s level courses.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars according to approved teaching plans.
• Schedule and communicate lecture/class details with relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to course and programme improvement and development.
• Prepare, grade, and evaluate assignments, examinations, quizzes, and other assessments in line with University regulations.
• Develop curricula and teaching materials adaptable across multiple platforms.
• Manage administrative tasks related to teaching and learning.
• Engage in professional development activities aligned with the University’s strategic direction.
• Provide academic guidance and support to students throughout their learning journey.
• Collaborate with industry and academic partners in outreach activities.
• Participate in branding and marketing initiatives when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Business Management with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience supervising Master’s candidates.
• Demonstrated research interest and experience.
• Strong teaching background with proven delivery at the higher education level.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and committed to career success.
• Demonstrated research interest and experience, with:
  • Publications indexed in Scopus within the past 3 years.
  • An H‑Index of 3 or above.
