Job Overview

The main role of the Quality Management and Enhancement Centre (QuaMEC), University of Cyberjaya (UoC), is to ensure and maintain high-quality academic programmes at UoC. Through QuaMEC’s two major services—managing the Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015 and coordinating the accreditation of academic programmes by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)—the Centre plays a key coordinating and facilitating role in guiding academic programmes to meet established quality standards. The Centre also provides techniques and tools to assist various academic programmes and related support departments at UoC in continuous self-improvement.

The Senior Executive / Executive (Programme Quality and Accreditation) at the Quality Management and Enhancement Centre (QuaMEC), University of Cyberjaya, plays a key role in supporting and coordinating academic programme compliance, accreditation, and external quality assurance processes. The position is responsible for managing documentation, communication, databases, and logistical arrangements related to accreditation exercises conducted by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and relevant professional bodies.

Working closely with faculties and internal stakeholders, the role ensures that academic programmes consistently meet regulatory, professional, and quality assurance requirements, and that accreditation and related audit processes are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with national standards.

2. Responsibilities

Program Compliance Coordination

Accreditation and External Quality Assurance Management

Coordinate the implementation of activities related to external institutional reviews and the accreditation of academic programmes, including provisional and full accreditation processes, as follows:

a. Data and Records Management

  • Manage and regularly update accreditation-related databases, including programme accreditation status, timelines, validity periods, and other QuaMEC-managed databases.

b. Accreditation Visit Coordination

  • Coordinate accreditation schedules, preparation activities, required documentation, and logistical arrangements for MQA provisional and full accreditation visits in accordance with MQA standards and requirements.
  • Liaise with faculties and relevant units to ensure readiness and completeness of documentation.

c. Professional Body Accreditation and Audit

  • Coordinate documentation, submissions, practical or clinical site visit arrangements, and logistical requirements for audits and accreditation exercises conducted by professional and statutory bodies (e.g., Malaysian Medical Council, Pharmacy Board Malaysia, and other relevant councils).

d. Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the liaison and communication focal point between internal stakeholders (faculties, academic departments, administrative units) and external agencies (MQA and professional bodies) on matters related to programme accreditation, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Disseminate accreditation-related updates, requirements, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.

3. Qualifications Section

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration, Office Management, Healthcare Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a university or academic environment.

Administrative & Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong document management and filing skills (digital and physical).
  • Ability to prepare professional correspondence, letters, minutes, and reports.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
