Quality Management and Enhancement Centre (QuaMEC)

The main role of the Quality Management and Enhancement Centre (QuaMEC), University of Cyberjaya (UoC), is to ensure and maintain high-quality academic programmes at UoC.

Through QuaMEC’s two major services — managing the Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015 and coordinating the accreditation of academic programmes by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) — the Centre plays a coordinating and facilitating role in guiding academic programmes to meet quality standards. It also provides techniques and tools to assist various academic programmes and related support departments of UoC towards continuous improvement.

This position assists the Senior Director of QuaMEC in the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015 at the University of Cyberjaya.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate the development, record-keeping, and dissemination of quality documents required under ISO 9001:2015, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, work instructions, and other related documents.
2. Maintain records and assist in the management of UoC’s internal quality auditors.
3. Coordinate periodic training sessions for internal quality auditors.
4. Coordinate the implementation of university-wide periodic internal quality audits based on ISO 9001:2015, including scheduling, audit team assignments, and internal communications.
5. Maintain records of internal quality audit reports and audit findings (including corrective and preventive action requests).
6. Prepare annual reports and relevant documentation on QMS activities, progress, and achievements.
7. Assist in QMS-related meetings in terms of preparation, record-keeping, and monitoring of follow-up actions, including the annual ISO Management Review Meetings.
8. Assist in document submissions and activities related to the accreditation of academic programmes by MQA.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of QuaMEC and the University of Cyberjaya Management.
