Main Purpose

• Deliver high-quality teaching in creative disciplines (e.g., fine art, design, media, performing arts).
• Inspire and support students to achieve academic and professional success.
• Contribute to curriculum development, research, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Learning
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical workshops.
  • Develop innovative teaching materials and methods to engage students.
  • Assess, grade, and provide constructive feedback on student work.
  • Supervise student projects, dissertations, and exhibitions.
• Curriculum & Programme Development
  • Contribute to the design and review of courses to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Integrate industry practices and emerging trends into teaching.
• Research & Scholarship
  • Undertake research, creative practice, or scholarly activity in relevant fields.
  • Publish work in academic journals, exhibitions, or conferences.
  • Support postgraduate research projects.
• Student Support
  • Provide academic advising and pastoral care.
  • Mentor students in career development and creative practice.
• Administration & Quality Assurance
  • Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation requirements.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotion of programmes.
