This role is central to enhancing graduate employability and strengthening industry engagement at UoC. The successful candidate will lead and support initiatives that prepare students for the workforce, maintain vital relationships with employers, and ensure UoC remains relevant and visible in both local and international employment landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Career Services & Graduate Employability

• Support the implementation of employability strategies, including career fairs, employer talks, workshops, and industry networking events.

• Coordinate and execute career development programmes such as résumé clinics, mock interviews, and upskilling sessions.

• Assist in managing the Sistem Kajian Pengesanan Graduan (SKPG) Tracer Study and ensure compliance with MOHE regulations and internal KPIs.

• Facilitate the career services component of the student clearance process for graduating students.

Employer Engagement & Data Management

• Maintain and update a comprehensive employer database to support placement tracking, industry outreach, and engagement metrics.

• Assist in nurturing and coordinating relationships with employers, HR professionals, and industry leaders.

• Support reporting and data collection for university performance frameworks (e.g., rankings and reputational data).

International Engagement & Strategic Networking

• Assist in managing international partnership engagements with embassies, chambers of commerce, and multinational companies.

• Support international visibility initiatives, including global education forums, memberships, and embassy-related collaborations.

• Maintain international industry contact databases and documentation related to MoUs, affiliations, and agreements.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with units such as Industrial Training, Alumni, and Graduate Engagement to align industry-facing efforts.

• Provide operational and administrative support for events, visits, and strategic activities.

Other Duties

• Represent the University at selected events, meetings, and conferences, as assigned.

• Deliver presentations or engagement sessions under the guidance of the Manager.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of data related to employer engagement, student employability outcomes, and international activities.

• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the department in alignment with the University’s strategic goals.
