INTERNATIONAL STUDENT RECRUITMENT

Executive


Support the international student recruitment efforts of the institution by assisting in the implementation of recruitment strategies and contributing to the attainment of enrolment targets.

Responsibilities

• Implement the university’s recruitment plans to achieve student recruitment goals.

• Ability to meet deadlines and student recruitment targets.

• Provide academic counselling, planning, and advising to potential students and parents.

• Independently develop and maintain partnerships between the university and higher secondary schools, alumni networks, and agents throughout the assigned regions.

• Support and service relationships with a network of agents to meet student recruitment targets.

• Provide training to key agents and counsellors through regular visits and training sessions.

• Support key agents in promotional activities, including education fairs, exhibitions, and info days.

• Follow up on enquiries and applications promptly to convert and recruit new students.

• Maintain up-to-date records of the student recruitment and admissions process.

• Take the lead on follow-up activities to ensure a high application-to-enrolment conversion rate, which is a key priority for this role.

• Work closely with the Head of International Student Recruitment to strengthen existing links and develop new partnerships with agents and sponsors.

• Work closely with the Head of International Student Recruitment to ensure sales tools used to promote UOC are available, impactful, and effective in the assigned regions.

• Prepare and submit monthly recruitment reports to the Head of International Student Recruitment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of sales or customer-related experience.

• Experience in team leadership and management.

• Experience in the higher education industry is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive personality.

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), with strong analytical skills and mindset.

• Strong ability to work under pressure.

• Self-motivated and action-oriented, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to converse in Mandarin is an advantage.
