Job Overview: English Lecturer/Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct teaching: Lead teaching and learning activities for courses offered under the Centre and University.
• Ensure continuous quality improvement: Enhance curriculum design and teaching delivery to maintain high standards.
• Teach English courses: Deliver lessons for Foundation, Diploma, and Degree programs.
• Prepare assessments and documentation: Develop assessment plans, teaching files, and MQA-related documents for all English courses.
• Review and monitor curriculum: Continuously evaluate and improve English course content and structure.
• Administrative duties: Participate in planning, coordination, and administrative tasks related to courses under the Centre.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching and learning experience at higher education level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject, with mastery level expertise.
• 2+ years of working experience in teaching or related academic roles.
• Experience with MQA documentation and compliance processes.
• Proven curriculum development skills
