Manager Application Services

Location: University ERP & Digital Transformation Office

The Manager, Application Services leads the strategic planning, delivery, and support of enterprise applications within the university’s ERP ecosystem. This role oversees the full lifecycle of application services — from ERP implementations and digital transformation projects to system integration and ongoing support — ensuring alignment with academic, administrative, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Services Management: Lead ERP implementation/enhancement projects, translate business requirements into functional specifications, conduct gap analysis, and oversee system integration.
• Project Delivery & Coordination: Develop project plans, coordinate stakeholders, manage testing cycles, and drive Agile ceremonies using Jira and Confluence.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Partner with academic/business units, lead change initiatives, and provide clear communication to leadership.
• User Enablement & Training: Oversee training materials, onboarding programs, and continuous improvement through user feedback.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and audit requirements.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop application services teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Risk & Resource Management: Identify risks, manage resources, and ensure budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in ERP application management, project leadership, or digital transformation.
• Demonstrated expertise in ERP platforms, system integration, and application support.
• Experience with higher education ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple complex initiatives
