(CCKK) FEMALE WARDEN

Job Overview:

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the provision and maintenance of the health, hygiene, discipline and general welfare of the students residing at Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu hostels. The warden is responsible to ensure the students adhere to student code and conducts and manage any disciplinary issues. The warden is also responsible in assisting the admission of new students into the hostel. The warden is also required to produce report to the management when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Required to stay in the warden’s accommodation during his/her tenure
• To provide care to students on site (eg: sending students to clinic/hospital) , providing information,advice and support as may be required, but within the scope of the role of College Hostel Warden.
• To address any students welfare issues and student disciplinary matters in hostel in a sensible and timely manner and in accordance with college Student Code and Conduct.
• To carry the college mobile phone when on duty and on call whenever necessary.
• To monitor and record students movement in hostel.
• Assisting in admission of new students into the hostel
• Establish and maintain appropriate social contact with students.
• Provide relevant information about the students whenever it is required.
• Offer appropriate first aid support when needed
• Respond to on-site emergencies during out of hours (burst pipes, broken windows, burglaries, locked out of room etc)
• Deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, and the warden may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above.
• Ensure bullying & ragging-free hostel.
• Conducting periodic spotchecks.
• Produce written reports to HOD/Management when needed.
