EDUCATION COUNSELLOR

Job Summary

As part of the CMS team at the University of Cyberjaya, the Education Counsellor plays a key role in building strong relationships with schools, managing education outreach events, and coordinating sponsorship initiatives with government agencies. This role supports the university's mission to promote higher education opportunities and strengthen brand presence among school communities

Key Responsibilities

School Engagement

• Represent UoC at school visits, talks, career fairs, and education expos.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with school principals, counsellors, and teachers
• Conduct engaging presentations and counselling sessions to promote UoC programmes and scholarship

Event Management

• Plan, coordinate, and execute on-campus and off-campus events, including open days, workshops, and outreach campaigns.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of events and follow-ups
• Maintain event records, feedback, and reporting for continuous improvement

Sponsorship & Government Liaison

• Manage and monitor sponsorship applications from government agencies and corporate partners.
• Liaise with relevant bodies to facilitate approvals and ensure compliance with guidelines,
• Maintain a database sponsors and track funding outcomes

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Education, Communications, or related field.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Able to travel for school visits and events (inter-state if required)
• Excellent organizations and time management skills.
• Experience in event planning or education counselling is an added advantage.
