Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of data processing, and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to help optimize operational performance and guide strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
• Develop and implement data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support decision-making.
• Communicate findings through visualizations, reports, and presentations to management and teams.
• Assist in the development of data-driven strategies and process improvements.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analysis and reporting.
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Microsoft Data Lake.
• Familiarity with data consolidation tools and experience connecting to external data/services via Excel, SQL, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques.
• Knowledge of database management and data cleaning processes.
• Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data integrity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a related field or industry is a plus but not required.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and best practices.
• Fluency in Malay or English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
