Job Overview
The Student Support Senior Executive/Executive sures that the student support and welfare operate smoothly and efficiently at all times. This role assists the students and support their needs especially student welfare support, disciplinary oversight, policy implementation and compliance and crisis management and collaboration with other departments. The role also requires the reporting and data management
Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing and managing disciplinary matters and the general welfare of the students within University of Cyberjaya.
- Develop and Implement Disciplinary Policy: Create, review and enforce disciplinary policies and procedures in alignment with UoC values and regulations
- Handle Disciplinary Cases: Investigate incidents of misconduct or breach of rules, conducts disciplinary hearings, and administer appropriate sanctions as per UoC Student Code of Conduct.
- Promote Positive Behaviour: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive culture and encourage responsible behaviour among students.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with faculty, staff, parents and external agencies to address student welfare concerns and ensure a coordinated approach to student support
- Organize Educational Programs: Assisting in planning and organize educational programme with University Counselor on topics such as conflict resolution, mental health awareness and substance abuse prevention
- Maintain Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of disciplinary incidents, interventions, and student support services provided, ensuring compliant with data protection regulations.
- Stay updated and best practices: Stay informed about current trends and best practices in student discipling, welfare and counseling, incorporating relevant strategies into the University policies and programs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education Qualifications
Degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Student Affairs or related fields is required.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar role and have demonstrable achievements.
- Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in customer service, relations, and support.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent computer and technical skills.
- Able to multitask effectively and prioritize all tasks while maintaining professionalism.
- Able to solve issues in timely manner individually or in a team.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work outside of office hours, when required.

- Ability to interact with students and staff.
- Ability to learn and work independently.
