SALES ANALYSIS AND REPORTING (CCO'S OFFICE)

JOB OVERVIEW

Sales Analyst focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making within an organization. This role involves working with various departments to understand reporting requirements and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports.

JOB SCOPE

Data Analysis:

• Collect and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate sales performance against target and historical performance.
• Work closely with sales team, corporate communication team, and finance department to gather data and insights.

Reporting:

• Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards for management, highlighting sales performance of the team.
• Present findings and insights to sales teams and other stakeholders.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors’ activities, customer preferences.

Budgeting Monitoring:

• Monitor and control actual expenditures against the budgeted amount for the entire group sales team. This involves regularly comparing actual spending with the budget to identify any variances.
• Provide regular update to the sales heads and keep them informed about financial performance.

Sales CRM:

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales data within the CRM system.
• Provide training to the sales teams to ensure they are proficient in using the CRM system.
• Work closely with the sales team to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for handling the clash cases.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and market research.
• Familiarity with sales processes, strategies, and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
