COUNSELLOR, STUDENT AFFAIRS

Responsibilities

•  To provide professional counselling services to students of University of Cyberjaya (UoC).
• To provide a respectful, supportive, and confidential environment, where students can talk openly about their concerns and feelings.
• To plan and execute academic and skills programs to students of UoC with comparative grade point average (CGPA) below than 2.00.
•  To plan and execute academic achievement programs for students of UoC so that they can achieve comparative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 – 4.00.
• To enhance UoC students’ professionalism and attitude alongside Disaster Relief Medicine (DRM), Personal Professional Development (PPD), Young Mercy (YM), soft skills activities and other curriculum activities.
• Administering personality, vocational, etc., assessments to UoC students and staffs on regular basis.
• Providing information of vocational and career to students (career counseling).
• Enhancing UoC’s students’ life skills, personal wellness, and the ability to succeed in all areas of their lives.
• To handle and administer the Student Disciplinary Committee and related reports, session, and hearing process.
• To assist in Student Feedback Management process as per requested.
• To ensure student welfare and well-being are taken care where the information and communication between department and faculty are aligned.
• To assist any student activities, event under Student Affairs Department as directed or required.

Preferred Requirement

• Must be a registered counsellor and a licensed counsellor under Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM)
• Bachelor's degree in Counselling/Psychology or any relevant
• At least 5 years working experience in relevant field
