Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily store functions, including inventory management, ordering, organization, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Source, hire, and onboard new employees. Coach team members for performance improvements and address any employee grievances.
  • Build a collaborative, positive store environment that promotes teamwork and open communication.
  • Plan and organize shifts to ensure optimal staffing levels for efficient store operations.
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and provide training to ensure all team members can meet service excellence standards.
  • Maintain high quality and consistency in products. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Drive customer engagement by leading the team to promote limited-time offers, events, and loyalty programs to attract and retain customers.
  • Prepare and manage store budget, monitor expenses and revenue, and analyze financial reports. Develop and implement strategies to meet sales and profitability targets.
  • Organize and deliver ongoing training to improve team members’ product knowledge, technical skills, and customer service standards.


Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the service industry, with at least 3 years in a similar managerial role.
  • Proven experience in overseeing store operations, building and managing effective teams, and coaching employees for improved performance.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes.
  • Familiarity with local employment regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
