Job Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of leasing strategies to support occupancy goals and align with the company’s commercial objectives.
- Develop and optimize tenant mix strategies to enhance property positioning and support long-term leasing performance.
- Monitor market dynamics, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform leasing strategies and business decisions.
- Assess leasing performance and identify areas for improving occupancy levels and rental returns.
- Lead tenant sourcing initiatives by targeting qualified prospects across commercial, retail, and residential sectors.
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with prospective and existing tenants to enhance leasing opportunities, tenant experience, and long-term retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams on the branding, positioning, and promotion of available spaces.
- Manage lease documentation processes in accordance with legal, corporate policy, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor rental revenue performance, including arrears, collections, and lease expiry schedules.
- Support financial planning by delivering accurate and timely occupancy and rental performance data.
- Liaise with property, facilities, and cross-functional teams to ensure leased units are ready for occupancy and tenancy matters are resolved efficiently and consistently.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Property Development, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in property management, real estate, or related areas.
- Industry-related certification is an added bonus.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy laws, real estate market trends, and transaction processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with property management and ERP software (i.e., MHW) is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Confident in making decisions and able to take accountability.
