JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Monitoring:
- Monitor project progress from Authorities Submission, Tender, SPA, Construction, CCC, until handover stage according to MIP.
- Manage project tasks (briefs, schedules, progress reports, costing, feasibility studies, paperwork) within set timelines and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with teams and consultants to ensure the project is executed on schedule.
2. Authorities Submission:
- Ensure the accuracy and details in consultant's submission drawings.
- Liaise with local authorities on the requirements and approval.
3. SPA Drawing & Specification:
- Ensure consistency across Approval Drawings, Tender Drawings, and Construction Drawings.
4. Tender Stage:
- Ensure Tender Drawings align with SPA and specifications.
- Ensure details are sufficient for construction and monitor the tender documentation program.
- Assist in coordinating inter-department and consultant activities.
5. Construction Stage:
- Ensure Construction Drawings match SPA and specifications prior to site possession.
- Monitor construction drawing and work programs.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining strict compliance with company policies and industry best practices to deliver high-quality results.
- Attending site valuations as required on site.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports as needed.
6. Hand-over / Defects Rectifications Stage:
- Assist in project handover, including Vacant Possession (VP), key management, and defects list management.
- Coordinate contractors/suppliers for defect rectifications and liaise with purchasers to resolve defect issues.
7. Undertake any other duties assigned by the management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry / property development industry / or a consultant office.
- Preferably with experience in liaising with local authorities.
- Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Assertive, proactive, and able to take the initiative in problem-solving.
- Willingness to be based on-site or travel to various sites as required (Klang Valley Area).
