Job Overview:

To ensure the company’s financial operations are accurate, compliant, and efficiently managed by overseeing AR/AP functions, bank reconciliation, taxation support, inventory process management, and governance documentation. The Accounts Executive plays a key role in maintaining seamless communication with external financial stakeholders and ensuring timely financial processes that support effective business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) Management
  • Manage and maintain accurate records for all accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments when required.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial entries are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
  1. Bank Reconciliation
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ensure all bank transactions are accurately recorded within designated monthly closing timeline.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
  1. External Financial Stakeholder Liaison
  • Act as a liaison between the company and the external accountant, bankers, auditors and tax agents.
  • Prepare and provide financial documentation required for statutory audits and financial reviews.
  • Ensure audit requests and queries are addressed promptly and within agreed timelines.
  1. Governance & Compliance:
  • Liaise with the company secretary on statutory and compliance matters
  • Maintain and file company documents in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  1. Company Taxation:
  • Coordinate with tax consultants on preparation and submission of corporate tax filings.
  • Ensure all tax submissions and related documentation are prepared accurately and submitted within statutory deadlines.
  1. Banking and Loan Administration
  • Manage banking transactions including payment processing, fund transfers, and bank documentation.
  • Support loan administration by tracking loan schedules, repayments, and related documentation.
  • Liaise with banking partners on operational matters and ensure accuracy in all banking transactions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on full set accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate taxation practices.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge with Odoo Accounting system is an added advantage.
  • High attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with external accountants, bankers, auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders.
